If you live in Espoo, you can vote in the elections on April 13, 2025.

On the same day, there will be two elections.

In the Espoo municipal election, 75 people will be elected to make decisions about local services such as early childhood education, schools, libraries, urban planning, and employment services.

In the regional Länsi-Uusimaa elections, 79 representatives will be elected to make decisions about social and healthcare services. Länsi-Uusimaa means Espoo + its neigbors Kirkkonummi, Siuntio, Raasepori, Hanko, Lohja, Inkoo, Karkkila ja Kauniainen.

Terms for both are for 4 years.

I am a candidate in both elections. Both councils make important decisions about welfare state services. I want to ensure that everyone has access to sufficient basic services in the future as well. The public sector must take the lead to ensure that everyone can access education and healthcare.
